FAQ – Know Before You Go:

  • Dress comfortably. High heels, dresses and skirts not recommended. Bug and sunscreen would be good to bring.
  • Swimsuit and towel + a change of clothes if you plan to swim at the waterfall in Waimea Valley (swimming is weather-permitting and life jackets/-guards provided).
  • Waterfall is staffed with lifeguards and life jackets are provided free of charge.
  • Bring Some cash — good for souvenirs, snacks, or optional treats along the way (even though your main lunch & admissions are covered).
